Financial clarity is a crucial component of any business or organization.
I had a discussion yesterday with a client, and we went through his financials. The financial package he had was so clear, and the metrics were excellent. As a result, we were able to focus on some things that he had never really looked at before.
Think about a pilot who is flying a multimillion-dollar aircraft. They have to have a few key indicators that they can access immediately and at all times. You need a “dashboard” like this to provide financial clarity for your business or organization.
I trust that your organization has either a CPA or someone internally who provides you with clear and straightforward financials. Someone who makes the financial situation in your organization even more complicated is not your ally. People who are excellent at what they do can take something that is complicated and has a lot of moving parts and makes it simple and easy to understand.
A lack of clarity or simplicity creates stress and prevents you from making the proper decisions on time (including preparing for an economic downturn). You should have a clear and simple “dashboard” that shows you the most critical financial metrics for your organization.
