When we think about goal-setting, we often think it’s enough to just set aside time to do a little analysis and think about the future. What’s missing from that equation is an outside perspective. Clarity and power often come from being able to step back and look at your business and business trajectory with a fresh perspective. Of course, an outside perspective doesn’t draw from a deep personal knowledge of your organization like you do, but being able to examine your business from an emotionally unattached standpoint has tremendous value.
