Sometimes as business owners, we get anxious and emotional. This can often lead to overreacting to things. But acting and reacting to high-pressure situations can reveal a lot about our leadership ability.
When I see someone react in a major way to a minor issue, that often indicates to me that they lack some perspective. This is probably a person that needs further experience, patience, and understanding.
When I am around effective organizational leaders, they are almost always controlled in their responses. They are typically very calm and slow to react. They aren’t afraid to respond, but they do it in a measured fashion.
Make sure you keep things in perspective. Doing so will help bring stability to your organization.
